Compositing
For the final composite, I imported the animation from
Toon Boom as PNG Sequences into After Effects, and used drop shadows, camera blurs, noise, a VHS filter, and additional color correction to help create a vintage/retro animation look!

Music/ Sound Effects
The rock music and fictional band in the film were inspired by songs from Siam Shade, and I also had the composers look to music from the animes Ranma 1/2 and Maison Ikkoku to inspire this film’s score. I also thought it would be fun to have the composers include some Persian-inspired music elements in the scene with the parents!
With the final animation, dialogue, and music, I went into Adobe Audition to do some final sound mixing before editing the final comp in Premiere!
